The spire of St Mary's, Harrow on the Hill, is the highest point in Middlesex: early evening view clear across the City of London to Docklands and beyond.
We are Spirewatch, the little charity with a big task: raising funds to preserve the ancient landmark church of St Mary's Harrow on the Hill. Our charity number is 290616.

Spire Cafe is an occasional "pop-up", with its home in the church room on the north side of St Mary's Church.

Autumn 2026 update
St Mary's spire restoration is now complete. Thank you to everyone who has helped raise so much to save and preserve Harrow's most visible landmark.
However, restoration never ceases on a building over 900 years old - so Spirewatch's fundraising continues: we are currently focusing on the restoration of St Mary's Grade II-listed Victorian lych gate.
